Another day and another 200ks of amazing Cambodia, this trip is like a holiday on acid!! You can't guess what will be next or when this feeling will end.
The riding today was long and hard, my blisters have now blistered under my first blisters. Our butts are sore and body's are in enough pain to pay the local nurse on the trip to massage us, 6 more days to go !!! Lets hope the body keeps up with the smashing we are giving them.
In the last day we have done and seen things that you could not believe from Khmer weddings and traffic riding in the cities that would make any grown man stain his pants (I came with not enough jocks after yesterday's riding)
I write this blog now in the deep jungle of Cambodia at a village stay (a house with a big room and a mattress). In this remote part of Cambodia our next door neighbors are having a wedding, it is pumping harder than Michael Jackson back in the day. It's pumping so hard I am feeling the bass in my body as we try and sleep.
This wedding is the the biggest thing this village has seen in a very long time. There are Cambodians standing out the front of the wedding dancing to the music on the dirt road. Everyone for miles has arrived to see the lights and music.
Quick reminder there is no electricity to this town so this is a huge deal, I don't think we will be able to sleep tonight ya fuckers !! The good news is that we get a mattress EACH and we don't need to share our room with any animals or other family members. Simple pleasures turn to gold when you forget to respect them.
Words from a seasoned traveler... never disrespect toilet paper again, I think twice before every square now!!
