Dirt นั่ง 5 ประเทศไทยบ้า

Here we after 2 days of riding sitting back drinking cold beers & talking shit about how amazing we are!! We are now in Mae Sariang after spending a night in Mae Chaem.

The first day was a mixture of dodgy & WTF have we done, who the hell came up with this idea of dirt-bike riding in Thailand. Yep it was me Mr Hellya we can do it again.

The tour has started with a really dodgy vibe with the tour company asking us to walk around the corner to pickup our bikes, we picked up the bikes all right but had hand in our passports. DODGY, what has just happened? We have just walked in to a bike rental joint & hired bikes under our names & passed over our passport. Shit that happened so fast & I didn't see it coming.

We all know real adventures take us out of our comfort zone. Here we are riding bikes in remote area's of the country with no passport in case of an emergency. Shit don't tell my wife.

So the first day started with road riding on Thailand roads hitting about 130ks an hour, OMG Thai people drive mad on the roads but don't worry we are riding with in the Thai rules.

"Thai rules for driving, the bigger you are the more road you should drive on"

Travis, Duncan & I are eating like mad men on a mission, we are ordering the best food EVER and eating like fatties from the Biggest Loser. Every morning we get together and rate our burning ass holes. Duncan is winning with Travis coming a good second.  We just love food, we are spending around $6 dollars a day for beers and good Thai food. It looks like Fred is struggling a little with the heat but hey it is not bothering the rest of us. Suck it up Fred.

The first night in Chaing Mai was very interesting with me taking the boys on a 5k walk to find the best Isan joint in the area. We found it & did we eat, please don't tell Fred or Simon Larb Moo means pork guts and intestine. Yum yum

Today we had fun on the bikes riding 150ks on dirt trails through some amazing villages  & views that nearly stop us in our tracks. What a trip, the boys are having a great time on the bikes.

Simon took a couple good hits today but got back on the bike every time & didn't complain, I think he is bike crazy.  Simon has smashed up his bars on the CRF250 but with a bit of bush mechanics we had it fixe in 20 minutes.

Duncan & Simon are new to the Mad 5 Dirt ride but have joined the group really well, we are all getting on like chilly & fish sauce (standard flavour of cooking in Thailand). Umm food, as I write this blog I am planning the next big feed. Tomorrow night we will be deep in the jungle so we will need to bring all our own food and cook it up our selfs.

Tomorrow we are riding to the Burma boarder to a refuge camp. It sounds like it is going to be a big day, I don't think we will have internet for the next couple of days.

From the Mad 5 we say good bye & have a great day at work suckers, tomorrow is going to be wicked.

I leave you with a winning image of Mr Hammond (Travis) falling of my bike in action, the video footage is so funny. In this picture travis is going to fast around a corner and lost control. hahahha
