We had the full tour, kicked off with a cheeky pre dinner down the back streets & walked all the way through the city. Hong Kong pulled out all the goodies, we got a ferry in and a second dinner down the back streets eating on the streets with the locals. Very cool!!
We arrived into Cebu city stinky and excited about the adventure, as all our adventures there is an element of dodgy.
Where are we going? will the bikes be good? What the hell are we doing!! This question keeps going through our heads as we drive further and further through a stinky, dirty city.
Cebu was not much to look at from a weary traveler's point of view, in and out was our plan. Let's get in the jungle and see this country.
We kicked of the next morning at 6am on the bikes to cover 160ks of technical trails, hard long day of good fun riding. This ride is starting to become real, we ended the day arriving in to Bogo at the Northern part of Cebu Island at night thanks to a flat tyre. This trip is now the real deal, it has been explained to us if the bike dies or someone gets hurt we will be waiting days for support...
We leave today on a ferry to Leyte Island, this is the island the typhoon hit and caused the most damage in the Philippines, word in the street is that it is still in a bad way.
